ORDER
The learned Counsel for the Petitioner submitted that the Petitioner had filed this Petition for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to forbear the Respondents from interfering with the Petitioner's peaceful conducting of prayer in the house of the Petitioner along with her family members and relatives along with friends situated in 23/200E Kaladivilai, Chenguli, Kadaiyapattinam Post, Kalkulam Taluk, Kanniyakumari District, on the basis of the representation given by the Petitioner dated 13.12.2023.
2.It is the further contention of the Petitioner that the Petitioner is the house wife. The address shown in the Writ Petition is her own dwelling house and she usually conducts prayers in her dwelling house. When she wanted to conduct prayer meeting, some outsiders are objected. Therefore, the Respondent Police interfered with her right to worship. The learned Counsel for the Petitioner submitted that the Petitioner is conducting prayer meeting only with her family and her relatives, for which some outsiders had intervened and it is unacceptable in the light of the rights guaranteed under Constitution of India to the citizen of this country to worship and to propagate religion, as per t
