COMMON ORDER

These Writ Petitions have been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to regularise the service of the petitioners as Lecturers / Assistant Professors in Commerce with Computer Application at Government Arts and Science College, Aandipatti, Theni District with all service benefits in the light of the judgments of the Division Bench of this Court in W.A.Nos.81 to 90 of 2016 dated 27.04.2018 and W.A.(MD) No.127 of 2011 dated 28.04.2014 within a stipulated time to be fixed by this Court.

2. Heard Mr.M.R.Jothimanian, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr.K.Surendran, learned Additional Government Pleader for R1 & R2 and Mr.Godson Swaminathan, learned counsel for R3 in both Writ Petitions.

3. The petitioners have been appointed on 20.09.2002 and

29.06.2004 respectively on consolidated pay as Lecturers in Commerce in Government Arts and Science College (formerly Kamaraj University Constituent College), after undergoing thorough selection process. The petitioners' post was sanctioned by the Government vide G.O.Ms.No.335, Higher Education (G1) Department dated 18.12.2002 and an approval has been granted from the date of appointment of
