O R D E R

The Writ Petition is filed for the following relief:

“To direct the second respondent to update the computerized patta No. 8011 for the property situated in S.no. 657 /3A5, Pallikarnai Village, Sholinganallur Taluk, Chennai, measuring an extent of 5.04 acres in the official portal of the Tamil Nadu Government based on the proceedings made in Na.Ka.No.J7/ 37749/ 2021 dated

31.12.2021 ”

2. The petitioner states that the subject property originally belonged to his father. After his death, the petitioner has been in possession and enjoyment of the same. All the revenue records, including patta stands in the name of the petitioner. The petitioner has also been issued with a computerized Patta No.8011, for the property.

3. The petitioner would submit that the Government of Tamil Nadu declared the adjacent lands as a Reserve Forest vide G.O.Ms.No.52 dated 09.04.2007. Based on the said GO, it is clear that the petitioner's property is not connected with the Reserve Forest Land. In the year 2011, when the petitioner attempted to pay property tax, he found that his property had been deleted from online records.
