ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to determine the compensation payable to the petitioner in respect of the lands that were acquired under the Tamil Nadu Highways Act .
2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, it has been brought to the notice of this Court that an Award has been passed and compensation was fixed and the said compensation was received by the petitioner under protest.
3. In the light of the above development, nothing survives in this Writ Petition. If the petitioner is not satisfied with the compensation fixed, it is left open to the petitioner to work out the remedy in the manner known to law.
4. This Writ is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
