O R D E R
The instant writ petition has been filed by a Driver of the respondent Transport Corporation seeking a Mandamus to provide alternative employment to the petitioner on the ground that his vision has been affected and he has been found unfit for driving by two private hospitals.
2. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents/
Transport Corporation submitted that the petitioner would be referred to the Medical Board and based upon the report submitted by the Medical Board, the request of the petitioner would be considered for alternative employment.
3. Considering the above said facts, the respondents/Transport Corporation is directed to refer the writ petitioner for the Medical Board, and in turn, the Medical Board is directed to send the Medical Report to the Transport Corporation within a period of eight weeks. On receipt of a said report, the respondents/Transport Corporation herein is directed to pass appropriate orders, within a period of four weeks thereafter.
4. With the above said observation, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently connected Miscellaneous Petitions stand closed.
