O R D E R

The relief sought for in this writ petition is for a direction to the the Respondent to consider the petitioner application dated 20.02.2020 to issue of Grama Natham patta in the name of the petitioner for the property comprised in S.No.325/25 at A.Gudigadu Village, Ayelur Taluk, Perambalur District measuring to an extent of 0.00320 sq.mt and pass orders accordingly.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner's mother and father was residing in Grama Natham land situated in S.No.352/25 measuring to an extent of 0.00320 sq.mt. for the past 40 years. They have put a house consisting of thatched roofing and after the death of the petitioner's father and mother, the petitioner and his family are residing there for the past 20 years.

It has been further submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner's mother in order to avoid controversies in the family in even as early as 2008 had settled the said land in favour of the petitioner herein by executing a registered settlement deed dated 27.08.2008 and the same registered as Document No.7885 of 2008 on the file of SRO, Perambalur with the value of the thatched hut and land
