COMMON ORDER
These Writ Petitions are filed under Section 226 of Constitution of India, to direct the 1st respondent to consider the representation dated
08.04.2022 to compound the offence under Section 5A of TNPID Act.
2.It is stated by the learned counsel for the petitioners that at the time of initial process, an an ad-interim attachment value of the properties was only Rs.41 crores. Now the value has been raised and the present value is more than Rs.110 crores and they are ready to compound the offence if the properties are sold out.
3.Mrs.P.S.Leela Alex, the District Revenue Officer, Coimbatore appeared before this Court and submitted that they have already filed applications before the trial Court in O.A.No.03 of 2014, O.A.Nos.11, 23 and 34 of 2015, O.A.No.27 of 2016, O.A.No.21 of 2017 and O.A.No.06 of 2020 in respect of final attachment of the properties.
4.It is the contention of the learned counsel for the respondent that during the pendency of the writ petition, the trial Court has not passed any final attachment order and only after the final attachment order of the trial Court, they can go for further proceedings and call bid for sale of the property.
