O R D E R

The punishment of dismissal from service imposed by the Disciplinary Authority, which was confirmed by the Appellate Authority is sought to be assailed in the present writ petition.

2. The writ petitioner had joined as Constable in the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) on 22.03.2010 and he was placed under suspension by the respondent in proceedings dated 11.04.2016 on the ground that he was arrested in connection with the criminal case and kept under judicial custody for more than 48 hours with effect from

09.04.2016.

3. The petitioner defended the criminal case, which ended with an order of acquittal. Thereafter, the petitioner submitted an application to set aside the penalty of dismissal from service on the basis of the order of acquittal passed by the Competent Criminal Court of law. The said Revision Petition filed by the writ petitioner before the Inspector General, Central Industrial Security Force is kept pending on account of the fact that the present writ petition is pending before this Court.
