O R D E R
The present Writ Petition has been filed by the wife of the deceased employee of Tamil Nadu Housing Board, challenging the order passed on 18.09.2018, wherein, she was requested to produce her marriage Certificate for disbursement of family pension.
2. A perusal of the typed set of papers indicates that due to some dispute between the petitioner and some private parties with regard to her marital status, she had initiated S.O.P.No.2 of 2012 before the Principal Sub Court, Madurai. In the said proceedings, the Tamil Nadu Housing Board was also made as one of the respondents. After contest, the trial Court has passed an order holding that the writ petitioner is the only legal heir/wife of the deceased A.Pandi and issued a Succession Certificate to the said effect. Challenging the said order, the respondents 1 to 3 had filed C.M.A.No.13 of
2014 before the Principal District Court, Madurai.
3. When the matter was pending before the first appellate Court, the parties have entered into a compromise to the effect that the appellants in appeal have accepted the legal status of the writ petitioner herein as the sole legal heir of deceased A.Pandi as declared in S.O.P.No.2 of 2012 for
