ORDER

The petitioner has participated in NEET examination for Medicine UG Programme for the year 2023-2024, and she had scored 394 out of 720 marks. She registered herself for counselling both in Tamil Nadu, and also in Puducherry as she is a domicile of Puducherry. The petitioner would then make a representation to the Selection Committee in Tamil Nadu on 16.07.2023, withdrawing her candidature in Tamil Nadu, and intends to participate only in Puducherry. According to the petitioner, her name finds a place in the draft merit list for NEET UG Medical Course under the Government Quota intended for Union Territories published on 09.08.2023, 15.08.2023 and 25.08.2023, but in the revised Updated Draft Merit List published on 08.09.2023, her name did not figure, and when enquired, she came to know that the omission or rather deletion of her name was owing to the petitioner claiming dual nativity. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court with this petition.
