The petitioner has come forward with this writ petition for issuance of writ of mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to restore the premises located at North Eastern side of Oceanic Tower, House of Hiranandani, 5/63, Rajiv Gandhi Salai, Egattur Village, Thalambur Post, Chennai.

2.The grievance of the petitioner is that the 6th respondent, developer of the apartment complex has un-authorizedly constructed the sewage treatment plant, in violation of the approved master plan, issued by the respondents 1 to 5.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioners would state that during the pendency of the writ petition, the 6th respondent has given an undertaking that if the writ petition is withdrawn, they will decommission and remove the sewage treatment plant.

4.The learned counsel appearing for the 6th respondent has also stated that if the writ petition is withdrawn, the 6th respondent will take appropriate action as per the undertaking given in the letter dated 22.10.2021. Letter submitted by the 6th respondent is extracted hereunder:-
