This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to call for the records in Special C.C.No.14 of 2020, for the offences under Sections 366 I.P.C, 5(1), 6 of POCSO Act and Section 9 of Prohibition of Child Marriage Act, 2006. pending on the file of the Special Court for Exclusive Trial of Cases under POCSO Act, Coimbatore and quash the proceedings pending as against the petitioner.

2.It is the contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner that at the time of lodging the F.I.R. the victim girl was 17 years and 7 months. Now she has got married to a a different person and is also having a child and hence she does not want continue the prosecution as against the petitioner.

3.A joint compromise memo has been filed before this Court by the petitioner, the 2nd respondent and the victim girl dated 22.08.2022 undertaking to withdraw the complaint lodged against the petitioner herein.
