O R D E R

This writ petition is filed seeking to direct the respondents to regularize the services of the petitioners with effect from the initial date of their joining the service of the second respondent on contract basis, i.e., 1/10/2004, 1/12/2004 and 13/12/2004, respectively and fix them in an appropriate scale and pay the arrears and refix their seniority in the list of seniority of coaches bearing No.8100/AO-1/2014 dated 1/8/2014.

2. Sports Development Authority of Tamilnadu is established for the purpose of dissemination of knowledge in Sports, inculcation of the spirit to involve and train oneself in sports among the people of the State of Tamilnadu. The petitioners have joined the services of the second respondent on 1/10/2004, 1/12/2004 and 13/12/2004, respectively, as District Coaches on contract basis, in the permanent vacancies which are vacant.

3. The services in the second respondent are being governed by the Sports Development Authority of Tamil Nadu Service Rules , 1988.
