ORDER
The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 2, 4 and 6 to take appropriate action with regard to excommunication of the petitioner by the respondents 7 to 13 by considering her representation dated
28.10.2023.
2.The petitioner, with a grievance that she has been excommunicated by the villagers and has not been permitted to participate in a function which was held in the month of December
2023, has filed this writ petition.
3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) submits that the festival is over and therefore, the relief sought for in this petition has become infructuous.
4.The allegation made by the petitioner is of an excommunication, which cannot be permitted at any cost. Therefore, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the fifth respondent/Tahsildar to find out if there is any practice of excommunication being adopted in the village and try to resolve the same. No costs.
