This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the respondent police to complete the investigation and file final report in Cr.No.1546 of

2023.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police on instructions from the Investigating Officer submits that the complaint been enquired and closed as ' mistake of fact '. RCS report been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate-III, Salem. He also submits that the petitioner/complainant put to notice by the learned Judicial Magistrate about the RCS report and directed to appear before the Court on 28.06.2024 ie., today.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner states that there is no instructions about the receipt of RCS Notice from the Court. Even otherwise, he will instruct the client to appear before the Judicial Magistrate and file his protest petition within a period of 15 days.

4. Taking note of this, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of permitting the petitioner herein to file protest petition on the RCS Notice before the learned Judicial Magistrate-III, Salem within a period of 15 days from today.
