J U D G M E N T

The Criminal Appeal has been filed against the judgment dated

21.03.2022 passed in S.T.C.No.218 of 2022 by the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Mettur.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the appellant submits that the appellant filed a complaint against the respondent/accused under Section 200 Cr.P.C for the offence punishable under Sections 138 and 142 of Negotiable Instruments Act for having issued a bounced cheque for a sum of Rs.5,00,000/-, however, the said complaint was dismissed as non-prosecution on 21.03.2022 for non-appearance of the appellant before the trial Court, without providing sufficient opportunity to the appellant.
