ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction, forbearing the respondents 2 to 7 from operating the burial ground in R.S.No.503 and 585 in Vadamugam Vellode Village, Perundurai Taluk, Erode District which is categorized as Eco-Sensitive Zone as per the Central Government G.O. No.1452 dated 22.05.2020 and in contravention to the Tamilnadu Village Panchayats (Provision of burial and buring grounds) Rules, 1999 by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 18.02.2021.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that initially this Court granted interim injunction and subsequently, the respondents had set up burial ground at another place. Now, they are not using the said property as burial ground.

3. Recording the said submission, this writ petition is closed. No Costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
