ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed for Declaration, by bringing into force of the amendment 1(a)(ii) to the Special Rules for the Tamil Nadu Agricultural Extension Subordinate Service on the G.O.Ms.No.30 Agriculture (AA4(2))Department dated 11th day of February, 2014 as ultra virus of the Constitution and consequently to direct the Respondents to bring into force the above said amendment too on the 25th January, 2008 on par with the amendment 1(a)(i) and accordingly to prepare the panel ratio for promotion to the post of Assistant Agriculture Officer by following 25:1.

2. This Writ Petition is filed by 10 petitioners. Pending Writ Petition, the petitioners were retired from service. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to entertain this Writ Petition. However, the legal issue raised in this Writ Petition is left open.

3. Hence, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.

Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
