This Criminal Original Petition is filed to quash the F.I.R in Crime No.729 of 2022 dated 04.12.2022 pending investigation on the file of the first respondent-Police against the petitioner.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent-Police, on instructions, submitted that on completion of investigation in Crime No.729 of 2022 final report was filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate -II, Tambaram and the same was taken on file in C.C.No.373 of 2024.

3. Since the first respondent-Police has completed the investigation and filed the final report before the learned Magistrate concerned, nothing survives for adjudication in this Criminal Original Petition. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. The petitioner is at liberty to work out her remedy in the manner known to law.
