JUDGMENT
This Criminal Appeal has been filed as against the order made in Crl.M.P.No.40 of 2025 dated 17.03.2025 on the file of the Special Court for Exclusive Trail of Offences under SC/ST (POA) Act, Perambalur, thereby dismissing the petition for bail.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents 1 and 2 and perused the materials placed before this Court. Though notice served on the third respondent and name has been printed in the cause list, today, no one is appeared on behalf of the third respondent either by person or through pleader.
3.The appellants is arrayed as first accused in Crime No.2 of 2025 on the file of the second respondent registered for the offences punishable under Sections 296(b), 85, 351(2) and 88 of BNS, 2023, Sections 3(1)(e), 3(1)(r) of the Scheduled Case/Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act and Section 66(e) and 67 of the Information Technology Act, alleging that the first accused had love affair with the defacto complainant.
