Mr.E.Antony Sahaya Prabahar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, takes notice for the respondents.

2.By consent of both parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3.The petitioner on behalf of his villagers has sent a representation dated 17.01.2025 seeking permission to conduct Kumbabisegam on 02.02.2025 for Sri Arulmigu Vinayagar Thirukovil Temple Festival at Sakkiliyankulam, Valandur, Usilampatti Taluk, Madurai District.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police submits that the subject temple belongs to H.R. & C.E. Department. Hence, the petitioner has to get proper permission from the Department. After getting appropriate permission from the Department, the petitioner's request for protection will be considered.

5.Recording the same, this Writ Petition is disposed of.
