O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction directing the District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate Court, Yercaud to dispose of the PRC No.3 of 2022.

2. It is seen that final report has been filed in Crime No.198 of 2008 and now it is pending for commital in PRC.No.3 of 2022.

3. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that one of the accused is absconding and as such, it is pending for commital.

4. Considering the above, the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate Court, Yercaud is directed to complete the commital proceedings within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Thereafter, the trial Court is directed to split the absconding accused and complete the trial within a period of six months from the date of spliting the absconding accused.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
