This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records in F.I.R No.83 of 2014 dated 19.7.2014 pending on the file of the Inspector of Police, Civil Supplies CID, Kanchipuram, Kanchipuram District and to quash the same.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the first respondent-Police and perused the materials available on record.
3. Since no adverse order is being passed as against the second respondent, notice to the second respondent is dispensed with.
4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent-Police submitted that, after completion of investigation, case was also closed as mistake of fact vide RCS No.2529 of 2025 and the same has been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Kanchipuram.
' 5. In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
However, the de-facto complainant is at liberty to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
