ORDER
The instant writ petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondent to pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law on the representations submitted by the petitioner on 28.10.2024 and 04.06.2025, regarding the fixation of seniority.
2. The petitioner states that he was appointed as a Fitter in the Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation and subsequently promoted to the positions of Overseer and Junior Engineer. Pursuant to the order issued by the 1st respondent in G.O.2D.No.4, Municipal Administration and Water Supply Department dated 27.01.2016, the petitioner was promoted as Executive Engineer in the Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation and is currently posted as Executive Engineer in Tambaram City Municipal Corporation.
3. It is the submission of the petitioner that junior to him, who does not belong to the Civil Engineering Branch of the Coimbatore Municipal Corporation was erroneously considered for seniority and promoted based on the proceedings
