O R D E R
The Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the first respondent police to defreeze the petitioner's bank account in A/c.No.0258073000001499 maintained with second respondent branch.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the first respondent police and also perused the materials available on record.
3. Since no adverse order is being passed against the second respondent, notice to the second respondent is dispensed with.

It is seen that the first respondent-police has given instructions to the second respondent-Bank to freeze the bank account of the petitioner in connection with a cheating transaction complaint lodged by one Adhikesavan. However, insofar as the petitioner's bank account is concerned, only Rs.80,000/- is involved, whereas the entire amount in the petitioner's bank account has been frozen.
5. Therefore, the first respondent-police is directed to give a specific instructions to the second respondent-Bank to freeze only Rs.80,000/- (Rupees Eighty Thousand Only) and to defreeze the remaining amount and that the petitioner is permitted to operate the remaining amount in the said account.
