ORDER

This petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking modification of the conditions imposed by the learned Judicial Magistrate Court, Sholinghur, Ranipet District in Crl.M.P.No.669 of 2025 dated 03.07.2025.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the learned Judicial Magistrate Court, Sholinghur, Ranipet District in Crl.M.P.No.669 of 2025 has granted bail to the petitioner with a condition that "4(a). the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail upon him executing a bond for a sum of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand Only), with one blood surety and one local surety like sum; 4(b). The sureties shall affix his photograph (which is not older than '6' months before the date of submission) and left thumb impression in the surety bond and shall furnish a copy of his Permanent Account Number Card or Bank pass book to ensure his identity and access the solvency of the sureties.''. The learned for the petitioner submits that since the petitioner is unable to execute the sureties, he is unable to come out on bail and therefore, seeks for modification of the condition imposed by this Court.

3. Heard the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) on the above submissions.

Considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court modifies the above conditions to the effect that “4(a). the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail upon him executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only), with two sureties like sum;

4(b). The sureties shall affix his photograph (which is not older than '6'

months before the date of submission) and left thumb impression in the surety bond and shall furnish a copy of his Bank pass book to ensure his identity and access the solvency of the sureties as per Section 14(5) of Tamil Nadu Criminal Rules of Practice .

5. With the above observations and directions, this Criminal Original Petition is ordered. The other conditions shall remain unaltered.
