ORDER
The instant writ petition has been filed to direct the 4th respondent to pay the medical claim amount with interest to the petitioner based on the petitioner's representation dated 14.03.2025.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that he is a pensioner and he took treatment at Bethesda Hospital and spent a sum of Rs.1,62,626/-. However, the Insurance company has reimbursed only Rs.75,755/-. In respect of the remaining amount, they did not state any reasons.
Hence, he had sent a representation to the Treasury.
3. At this juncture, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2 relied on the judgment of this Court in the case of S.Marimuthu Vs. The Government of Tamil Nadu , in WP.(MD).No.13429 of 2013 and batch, wherein this Court, after elaborately considering various aspects, has observed in Paragraph No.80 as follows:
“80. In order to reconsider all these claim made by the respective writ petitioners for medical reimbursement, by remitting the matters back, the following directions are issued:
(i) All the impugned orders in the respective writ petitions in this batch of cases, are hereby quashed.
