The court mandates filing a non-compliance application under RTI guidelines when information is not satisfactorily provided.

ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed, challenging the order passed by the Public Information Officer of the 2^nd respondent Office on the ground that the information sought for by the petitioner has not been furnished to him as per the order passed by the 1^st respondent.

2.A perusal of the affidavit as well as typed set of papers would indicate that the petitioner sought for certain information from the 3^rd respondent. Being not satisfied with the information furnished, the petitioner filed first appeal as well as second appeal. Ultimately, the second appeal filed by the petitioner was disposed of by the 1^st respondent on 03.04.2023, directing the Public Information Officer to furnish the information sought for by the petitioner.

3.The main grievance of the petitioner is that the information sought for by him has not been fully furnished. Even in the impugned order, the Public Information Officer of the 2^nd respondent Office furnished certain information. However, the petitioner appears to be not satisfied with the information. If the petitioner is not satisfied with the information furnished to him, he can very well file an application before the 1^st respondent, complaining non-compliance of his directions. The Writ Petition filed by the petitioner, seeking to quash the information furnished appears to be misconceived one. Therefore, it is for the petitioner to file an appropriate application before the 1^st respondent, complaining non-compliance of his order dated 03.04.2023. The petitioner is granted two (2) weeks time to file such application before the 1^st respondent from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If any such application is filed, the 1^st respondent shall consider the same and dispose of it in accordance with Section 20 of RTI Act within a period of sixteen (16) weeks thereafter. 4.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
