JUDGMENT

This Civil Miscellaneous Appeal has been filed by the appellant/claimant, challenging the quantum of compensation awarded by the tribunal on the lower side.

2. The facts leading to filing of this Civil Miscellaneous Appeal is as follows;

(i) On 28.03.2021, at about 20.30 hrs, when the appellant was proceeding along CTH Road, Thirunindravur as a pedestrian and was about to cross the road from south to north, a motor cycle bearing Regn.No.TN 12 AM 4225 came from east to west, driven in a rash and negligent manner, dashed against him, due to which, he fell down and sustained grievous injuries (ii) Respondents 1 and 2 are the owner and insurer of the offending vehicle respectively.

(iii) Since the accident occurred only due to the rash and negligent driving of the motor cycle, the 1^st and 2^nd respondents who are respectively the owner and driver of the offending vehicle, both are jointly and
