This appeal has been filed challenging the Judgement of the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Mahila Court, Madurai, dated
28.06.2018 in S.C.No.161 of 2012.
2. The appellant is the sole accused who has been found guilty for the offence under Section 306 IPC , convicted and sentenced by the learned Additional Sessions Judge to undergo 5 years RI and to pay a fine of Rs.10,000/-, in default, to undergo 1 year SI.
3. The case of the prosecution as per the records is that the deceased Pandeeswari is the wife of the accused whom she married two and half years before the date of occurrence.
