Prayer :-
Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution
of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the
respondents to pay compensation together with interest from the
date of acquisition for acquisition of lands belonging to the
petitioner in Plot No.59, comprised in S.Nos.257/12, 257/1,
Sriperumbudur Village, Kancheepuram District of an extent of
7200 sq.ft. in favour of the petitioner within the time
stipulated by this Court.

ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for direction directing
the respondents to pay compensation together with interest from
the date of acquisition for acquisition of lands belonging to
the petitioner in Plot No.59, comprised in S.Nos.257/12, 257/1,
Sriperumbudur Village, Kancheepuram District of an extent of
7200 sq.ft. in favour of the petitioner within the time
stipulated by this Court.

2. Though the petitioner claims compensation for the Plot
No.59, comprised in S.Nos.257/12, 257/1 situated at
Sriperumbudur Village, Kancheepuram District of an extent of
7200 sq.ft., the petitioner did not even whisper about the
acquisition proceedings and on what date the land was acquired
and by whom. That apart, the petitioner has caused only legal
notice, that too on 11.12.2019 seeking compensation. Therefore,
the direction sought for in this writ petition cannot be
considered and the writ petition is devoid of merits.
3. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed. However,
the petitioner is at liberty to make a fresh representation
before the second respondent with all necessary particulars
about the acquisition of the subject land. No order as to costs.
