Petitions praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in

the affidavit filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to

[i] call for the records pertaining to the case in S.C.No.19 of

2014 on the file of the VII Additional Sessions Judge, City Civil

Court, Chennai, quash the charges against this petitioner. [IN

CRL.OP.NO.28300/2018]

[ii] stay all further proceedings in S.C.No.19 of 2014 on the

file of the VII Additional Sessions Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai,

pending disposal of the above Crl.OP.No.28300/2018. [IN

CRL.MP.NO.16447/2018]

Order : These petitions coming on for orders upon perusing the

petitions and the filed in support thereof and upon hearing the

arguments of M/S.S.RAMACHANDRAN, Advocate for the petitioner and of

Mr.M.Mohamed Riyaz, Additional Public Prosecutor on behalf of the

1^st Respondent and of M/S.A.SURESH Advocate for the 2^nd Respondent, the

court made the following order:-

The learned counsel for the second respondent has submitted that

he has not received the typed set of papers. The learned counsel for

the petitioner has submitted that he already sent typed set of papers

by post, however, he will furnish another copy to the learned counsel

for the second respondent. Hence the petitioner is directed to

furnish the copy of the typed set of papers to the learned counsel

for the second respondent on or before 21.02.2020. Call this matter

on 17.03.2020, for filing counter and arguments. Till then, interim

order is extended.
