Civil Suit filed under Order IV Rule 1 of the Original Side Rules read with
Order VII Rule 1 of the Code of Civil Procedure read with Section 13(3)(a) of the
Copy Right Act, 1957, read with Section 55 of the Copyright Act, 1957 seeking
permanent injunction restraining the defendants 1, 2 and 4 or his men, agents,
representatives (or) any other person claiming under them from releasing the
film 'Yaathra' in Tamil in any theatres, malls, ect. in Tamil Nadu and other areas
by 8th February 2019 and also publish the trailor of the film in print/electronic
media, e.mail any other electronic communication in the State of Tamil Nadu.

J U D G M E N T
When the matter is taken up for hearing today, learned counsel for the
Plaintiff sought permission of this Court to withdraw the Civil Suit and he has
also made an endorsement in the court bundle to that effect.
2. In view of the above, the Civil Suit is dismissed as withdrawn.
However, there will be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Original
Application No.100 of 2019 is closed.
