This writ petition has been filed seeking a writ of certiorari to call for the records relating to the order dated 31.05.2018 made in SHRC No.10741 of 2010 on the file of the first respondent and to quash the same.

2. The brief facts that are relevant for disposal of this writ petition are as under:-

2.1. The third respondent herein (hereinafter referred to as “the Complainant”) made a complaint, dated 23.12.2010 (hereinafter referred to as “the complaint”) before the first respondent/ State Human Rights Commission at Chennai (hereinafter referred to as 'State Commission') against the petitioner herein and nine others to summon them and to deal with them in accordance with law while seeking for a further direction against them for payment of compensation of Rs.50,000/- for the injuries alleged to have been suffered by the third respondent. The State Commission entertained the said complaint made by the third respondent and registered the same as SHRC No.10741 of 2010 and accordingly conducted an elaborate enquiry into the matter.
