Nos. 2941 & 3646 of 2025 Common Prayer : These applications have been filed under Order XIV Rule 8 of the Original Side Rules read with Order XVI Rule 1 of Code of Civil Procedure , praying to grant leave to the 1st applicant / 1st defendant to produce the forensic report dated 30.09.2020 of Truth Labs Forensic Services and mark the said document in evidence and to issue sub-poena summons to examine Prof.K.Ramakrishnan, Director (Emeritus), Documents Division Truth Labs, Chenai at Truth Labs, Flat No.19, Dev Apartments, No.15, 1st Main Road, Opp. Hotel Sangeetha, Kasturba Nagar, Adyar, Chennai-600020 to adduce evidence before this Court pertaining to the forged signature of Late Amara Bai.

st Applications have been filed by the 1 defendant seeking leave to the 1st applicant / 1st defendant to produce the forensic report dated 30.09.2020 of Truth Labs Forensic Services and mark the said document in evidence and also to issue sub-poena summons to examine Prof. K.Ramakrishnan, Director (Emeritus), Documents Division Truth Labs, Chenai at Truth Labs, Flat No.19, Dev Apartments, No.15, 1st Main Road, Opp. Hotel Sangeetha, Kasturba Nagar, Adyar, Chennai-600020 to adduce evidence pertaining to the forged signature of Late Amara Bai.
2. As the applicant had obtained a forensic report from a private agency based on a photo copy, neither the forensic report can be received nor the expert can be summoned to depose evidence. However, the applicant is at liberty to amend this prayer to get the original document, after producing the original document and get it examined by getting leave of this Court by Hand Writing Expert of the Government Forensic Laboratory.
3.With the liberty given above, these applications are closed as unnecessary. No costs.
