O R D E R
Heard the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 to 4.
2. Issuance of notice to the private respondents is dispensed with.
3. The petitioner is a permanent resident of Sundakkottai Village. He alleges that in the petition-mentioned water body, there are encroachments. He points fingers at the private respondents. The private respondents are quarry lease holders. From the materials enclosed in the typed set of papers, it is seen that the private respondents have admitted that they had encroached the petition-mentioned water channel and they had undertaken to remove the same. This undertaking has been recorded in the communication dated 15.05.2025 issued by the Tahsildar, Aruppukottai Taluk to the District Collector, Virudhunagar.
4. We direct the fourth respondent to issue notice to the private respondents herein and other encroachers if any and ensure that all the encroachments are cleared within a period of three months.
