JUDGEMENT
This appeal has been filed challenging the Judgement of the learned V Additional District and Sessions Judge, Madurai, dated 24.10.2017 in S.C.No.97 of 2014.
2. The appellant is the sole accused, who has been charged and tried for the offence under Section 302 IPC , however found guilty by the learned trial Judge for the offence under Section 306 and convicted and sentenced to undergo 5 years RI and to pay a fine of Rs.2,500/-, in default to undergo 3 months SI.
3. The case of the prosecution as per the records is that the deceased Sundari was the eldest daughter of the defacto complainant. The accused and the deceased married each other and they have been residing at Hosur. The relationship between the couple was not cordial as th
