JUDGMENT
This criminal appeal has been preferred challenging the judgment of the learned Sessions Judge, Fast Track Mahila Court, Dindigul, dated 06.04.2018, made in Spl.S.C.No.9 of 2016.
2. The appellant is the sole accused, who was found guilty for the offences under Sections 3 76(1) and 366 IPC and convicted and sentenced to undergo 7 years rigorous imprisonment and fine of Rs.2,000/-, in default to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a further period of one year for the offence under Section 3 76(1) : and to undergo 3 years rigorous imprisonment and fine of Rs.1,000/-, in default to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a further period of six months for the offence under Section 3 66 . The sentences were ordered to run concurrently.
