COMMON O R D E R

Complaining that the order dated 28.07.2022 has not been complied with, the present Contempt Petitions are filed.

2. This Court, by its order dated 28.07.2022 issued a direction to the second respondent to refer the matter under Section 20 of the Tamil Nadu Highways Act, 2001 r/w. Section 64 of the Act to the competent authority for determination of the fair compensation before the competent authority / Court in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. As seen from the letter dated 15.09.2025 submitted by the learned Special Government Pleader, pusuant to the said directions, the matter was referred to the competent civil Court and the same was numbered as O.P.No.1696 of 2025.
