O R D E R
Challenge has been made against the order dated 13.11.2024 passed by the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Chennai in Crl.M.P.No.31811 of 2024 in C.A.No.860 of 2024, wherein the learned Principal Sessions Judge suspended the sentence of imprisonment imposed on the respondent/accused by the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, FTC-V, Saidapet, Chennai in C.C.No.3819 of 2021.
2. The case of the petitioner/complainant is that the trial Court by its judgment dated 14.10.2024, convicted the respondent/accused for the offence under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act and sentenced to undergo simple imprisonment for a period of 11 months and also directed the accused to pay the cheques amount of Rs.3,01,00,000/- as compensaton to the complainant. Challenging the same, the respondent/accused preferred an appeal before the Principal Sessions Judge, Chennai in C.A.No.860 of 2024 and he had also filed a petition in Crl.M.P.No.31811 of 2024 to suspend the sentence imposed by t
