This application has been filed to appoint an Interpreter who is
proficient in reading and writing the Tamil Language to the applicant at
the time of adducing evidence during trial in the above suit.
2. The applicant is the 4th defendant and she is 85 years old. Due to
hearing impairment, she is not able to reply the questions posted by the
learned Master. The applicant is able to read and write Tamil only hence,
an Interpreter is needed to translate the questions posted by the other side
counsel in Tamil and translate the answers given by the applicant in
English and help the Court to record evidence seamlessly.
3. In view of the age and hearing impairment of the applicant / 4th
defendant who has already filed proof affidavit, I feel it is essential to
appoint an Interpreter who is well-versed in both Tamil and English in
order to translate and write the questions to be posted by the respondents'
counsel in Tamil to the applicant and then translate the answers given by

the applicant in English. Since the language of the Court is English, such
an assistance
