O R D E R
By asserting that the petitioner's family has been in posession and enjoyment of the property in Survey No.7/3 of an extent of 12 ares for several decades, the petitioner had applied for issuance of patta. The present writ petition relates thereto.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner relies on the certificate dated
05.08.2021 from the Village Administrative Officer recognising the petitioner's occupation of the relevant property.
3. Learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice for all the respondents. Since the extent is more than 5 cents, he submits that the competent authority to take a decision is the Revenue Divisional Officer.
4. Accordingly, without making any observations on the merits, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the third respondent to consider and pass orders on merits on the petitioner's request for patta within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after providing a reasonable opportunit
