ORDER
This Criminal Revision Case has been filed challenging the order dated 30.06.2025 passed by the learned Assistant Sessions Judge, Thirumayam, in Crl.M.P.No.69 of 2023 in S.C.No.12 of 2022.
2. The petitioner herein is the second accused in S.C.No.12 of
2022. Accused Nos.2 and 4 filed Crl.M.P.No.69 of 2023 before the learned Assistant Sessions Judge, Thirumayam, seeking discharge from the offences with which they were charged.
3. Prosecution Case :
3.1 The case of the prosecution is that on 26.02.2019, at about
04.30 a.m., upon receiving intimation from Pudukottai Government Medical College, the respondent police recorded a complaint from the defacto complainant, Vasugi, W/o Vaithiyalingam. Vasugi and one Sivaraman were running a petty shop near Thirumayam Bairavar Kovil in Thirumayam Village Panchayat for more than six months. There existed enmity between the defacto complainant and Sivaraman, leading to frequent quarrels.
3.2 On 26.02.2019, at about 8:30 a.m., while the defacto complainant, her elder sister Manimala, her younger sister Gowri, and Gowri’s mother-in-law Rajam were engaged in business at the shop, the petitioner/second accused Saravanan, along with four others, came to
