O R D E R
Mrs.S.Anitha, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondents. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2.The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to consider the application no.1247/2025 dated 20.02.2025 to issue death certificate.
3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner applied for death certificate of his parents on 20.02.2025, however, there is no response. Hence, this Court may issue direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's application dated 20.02.2025 and to pass appropriate orders, within a reasonable time frame.
4.Considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's application dated 20.02.2025, on merits and in accordance with law and to pass appropriate orders, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
