This writ petition has been filed directing the respondents to grant ordinary leave for 40 days without escort to the detenue, Sentilkumar, S/o.Palanisamy aged about 40 years, convict prisoner bearing Convict No.14662 and PID.No.24657 at Central Prison, Coimbatore.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor and perused the materials placed on record.
3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court, without expressing any view or opinion with regard to the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 07.10.2025 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.
4. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
