SENTHILKUMAR RAMAMOORTHY, J
P.Kala – Appellant
Versus
The District Collector – Respondent
ORDER
By asserting that the petitioner and her family have been residing in new Plot No.45/11C2, which falls in S.No.46/1, the petitioner had applied for patta in relation thereto. The present writ petition has been filed on the ground that such application was not acted upon.
2. Learned Government Advocate accepts notice for all the respondents.
On the basis of written instructions, he submits that the land is classified as natham poromboke varathukalum. Since it is classified as a water body, he submits that it may not be possible to grant patta to the petitioner. Without prejudice, he states that orders would be issued on merits.
3. Accordingly, without making any observations on the merits, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the 3rd respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's request for patta on merits within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
