This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents
2 and 3, to enroll the petitioner as an Advocate in the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the Bar Council of India has considered the application of the petitioner seeking permission to appear in the Qualifying Examination for Indian Nationals holding Foreign Law Degrees, together with annexures and supporting documents submitted by the petitioner and passed an order dated 05.11.2025, pursuant to which, the petitioner is now permitted to appear in the next Qualifying Examination for Indian Nationals holding Foreign Law Degrees recognized by the Bar Council of India. Therefore, he would submit that since the Bar Council of India itself permitted the petitioner to appear in the next Qualifying Examination for Indian Nationals holding Foreign Law Degrees, the petitioner will take up the examination and thereafter, seek enrollment. He also produced a photocopy of the order dated 05.11.2025 passed by the Bar Council of India before this Court.
Recording the same, this writ petition stands closed. No costs.
