ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing first respondent to act upon the representation made by the petitioner on 07.05.2024 wherein the petitioner is seeking restoration of patta in his name with respect to the subject property.
2. Heard Mr.S.C.Vishwanth, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.P.Ganesan, learned Government Advocate [Crl.side] appearing for first respondent.
3. The case of the petitioner is that the property was originally owned by his grandfather and patta also stood in his name. However, during re-survey, the patta was issued in favour of the second respondent. Being aggrieved, the petitioner submitted a representation on 07.05.2024 to the first respondent seeking cancellation of patta in favour of second respondent and restoration of patta in the name of the petitioner. Since the same was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed.
