ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 2 and 3 to act upon the application submitted by the petitioner on 01.07.2025 wherein the petitioner is seeking survey of the subject property and demarcation of boundaries.
2. Heard Mr.R.Maheswaran, learned counsel for petitioner, Mr.S.Arumugam, learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents 1 to 3 and Mr.L.Baskaran, learned Government Advocate [crl.side] appearing for fourth respondent.
3. The case of the petitioner is that he is the owner of the subject property by virtue of a sale deed dated 27.02.2018 registered as document No.184/18. The patta stands in the name of the vendor. The petitioner wanted sub-division of the property and issuance of separate patta in his favour. Hence, he submitted an application on 01.07.2025 after paying necessary charges for survey of the subject property and for demarcation of boundaries. Since the same was not acted upon, the present writ petition has been filed.
