2. On the last hearing date i.e., on 31.10.2025, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent had submitted that based on the petitioner's representation, he has been upgraded as Special Sub- Inspector of Police with effect from 01.05.2014 and his pay has been refixed. The proceedings of the respondent dated 04.05.2023 has also been placed on record by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent today.

3. Since there is no representation on the side of the petitioner, it can now be inferred that the petitioner is not interested in prosecuting this writ petition.

4. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed as non-prosecution.

No costs.
